Transcription	舟泊滴利遠聞花香 海南直摩島，滴利活中央。 四山瞰一水，從佔稱仙鄉。 葡人奮捷足，奄有茲名疆。 歐人勢東漸，於此為濫觴。 五百有餘歲，積弱滋堪傷。 花開若招客，晚風遙送香。
Translation	Docking at Dili, amid a Distant Smell of Flowers In the South Seas is the island of Timor; Dili lying at its centre. Four peaks overlook the same water; a vale for immortals, one might same. Portuguese hasten to claim this famous land. Europeans shift eastward, make this their bridgehead. For five hundred years, weakness compounded yields suffering. Flowers bloom, hospitable; evening breeze wafts their fragrance far away.
