Description from source	Handwritten in ink on the cover page, in German: "19 Wasted Months / Diary and Notes of My Internment / Kurt Lewinski." Approximately 77 pages of German text detailing Lewinski's experience. This diary was kept by Kurt Lewinski over the course of nineteen months. It was written while Lewinski was imprisoned in England, detained on board the Dunera and interned at Hay and Tatura. An additional, translated copy is also held in the Jewish Museum's collection
