On the Australian continent, Dutch place names are shown. The continent is shown with an incomplete south eastern coastline; the north eastern part of the continent is cut from the sheet. On the Australian continent is shown 'Terra Concordia (1618)', 'Terra d'Edels 1619', 'Terra de Lewin 1622', 'Terra de Pietro Nuyts 1627'. At the southern part of the continent is shown the Island of 'San Francesco', (Kangaroo Island). At the northern part of the continent is 'Terra di Diemen', and 'Terra di Arnhem'. At the lower section of the sheet is a large 'Terra Australe Incognita', drawn with a vague and incomplete coastline. Has decorative border, with astrological symbols.
