This postcard was sent to Arthur and Valerie Lederer aboard the SS ORAMA from an unknown person in London, England in 1939. It features a handwritten note in German and was sent to them care of the Orient Line at Fremantle, Australia. The Lederers were travelling as displaced migrants, having fled Jewish persecution by the Nazis in Europe prior to World War II.
