This collection reflects the lives of Catharinus Lawant, his wife Maria and daughter Martina, under the Japanese occupation of Indonesia, during the Second World War. Included are pencil drawings of internment camps by Catharinus Lawant and personal documents collected by his daughter Martina Schotz nee Lawant.
