Description from source	H 650mm x W 455mm x D 1mm This poster advertises an award-winning television film documentary produced by Film Victoria, titled 'East Meets West', about a stage production titled 'A Celebration of Welcome', which was staged by the West Theatre Company at Moonee Ponds in Melbourne, in June 1984. The stage production told the story of the epic journey from Vietnam to Australia and the experiences of the Vietnamese immigrants who acted in it. The documentary was screened on ABC TV's Worldwatch program on Saturday 18 January 1986. Silk-screen printed theatre poster, titled 'East Meets West', in pale and dark blue on white paper. It depicts a dragon in the foreground, a small single-sailed Chinese junk with approximately 20 people aboard in the centre, and a landscape featuring a snow-capped mountain in the background. The text is in English and Euro-Chinese, and it is dated June 1984.
