Ship's journal kept by the skipper Aucke Pieter Jonck, Skipper of the Galliot Emeloordt sailing on its voyage from Batavia to the Southland in the year anno 1658.

The Emeloort was searching the Western Australian coast for the survivors of the Vergulde Draeck, which wrecked in 1656. Despite not locating the wreck or its survivors, this voyage provided a detailed survey of the dangerous WA coastline. The skipper Aucke Pieter Jonck maintained this journal.
