This POW camp newsletter entitled 'L'eco del campo' was found as an estray and is annotated with the information -
It is believed that this prisoner was in number S.5 farm labour camp. S.5 stands for the Prisoner of War Control Centre in Mount Gambier in the south east of South Australia. The camps were No 14a (Italian prisoners), 14b (Japanese) 14c (Japanese), 14d (German and Italian), 9 (Italian) and 10 (Italian) were all part of Loveday Camp at Barmera in South Australia.
