Papers of Helen Mantegani, 1836 colonist and daughter of Robert Thomas, proprietor of the 'Register', and her husband Alfred, comprising family correspondence, including letters in Italian, scrapbook including pencil sketches (possibly by John Michael Skipper), birth and marriage certificates, correspondence, and paper on Alfred Mantegani by Desmond O'Connor, historian. Large proportion of family correspondence and paper by Desmond O'Connor in Italian.
