Description from source	1.19 metres of textual material (7 boxes). John Gerard Hardy papers, 1938-1996 (born Hans-Gerhardt Hirthe in Germany, arrived in Australia in 1939). The collection comprises personal and business correspondence, literary papers, appointment diaries and notebooks. Several folders include correspondence with Frankfuerter Allegemeiner Zeitung, 1965-1985, and associated newscuttings of articles and notes submitted by Hardy.
