| Description from source |
Diary of Ferdinand Kleinschmidt of Pimpama Island, now known as Woongoolba, mainly recording the work in loading and carrying sugar and timber by river punt from farms in the Logan district to some of the local sugar mills, including the Ageston sugar mill and Rehfeldt's mill at Alberton. Entries in the diary are irregular but frequent until 1880, then a few for 1881-1883 and 1892 which are mostly in German. |
