MS Acc11.151 comprises a group of 13 letters written between 15 February 1826 and 11 November 1831 sent from a range of locations by the two scientists to Louis de Freycinet, predominantly during the first Pacific voyage of Dumont d'Urville on the Astrolabe. Of note in the correspondence is a description of the discovery of the fate of the La Pérouse voyage of 1788. Correspondence mostly written by Gaimard with the active participation of Quoy. Typewritten précis summarising the letters available with the collection (1 folder).
