Abstract |
Part of a collection of correspondence to and from family members 1941-1958. This record includes 9 letters sent to Janina's mother between 1955-1958 after she left Wagin and moved to a home in Bayswater. Janina's husband finds work in Wittenoom at the asbestos mine and she writes of the heat and isolation while living there. The letters are written in Polish and have an introduction in English.
