The letter carries the stamp issued by the Duchy of Brunswick, Braunschweig in Germany, sent to the three brothers who are Michaelis, Isaac and Bendix Hallenstein at Jim Crow Diggings (the goldrush settlement in the area of Hepburn and Daylesford, Victoria, Australia). |
