| Abstract |
Zandona was a farmer from Griffith NSW. His farm was based at Yenda. He was fined for being in possession of a photographic machine and was subsequently called up in the C.A.C. The folder contains the correspondence between Angelina Zandona and Saviane to have her husband released from South Australia Railway Construction; and between Saviane and the Minister for the Army, the Australian Civil Rights Defence League the Aliens' Department of the A.W.C., Minister for External Affairs, Waterside Workers' Federation of Australia, The Controller of Aliens (National Bank Building). Mrs Zandona was sick and had three children to look after. |
