Abstract |
Article on the consequences of WWI on the rehabilitation of Dutch inmates and the idea of one of the rehabilitation institution’s directors (Het Groote Woudhuis) on the possibilities of migration to Australia after the war’s closing. The healthy and young former convicts could use their farming skills in the country; the article ends with a few quotes from a former Wouldhuis man who migrated to Australia.
