Description from source |
The Chinese Citizens' Society of Melbourne, opened a school for the teaching of their ancestral language, which has proved an outstanding success from its inception. Originally intended for children only, the demand has been so great that special classes have had to be arranged for adults as well. All lessons are free - two young boys in class Louie Chan, 12, and Ian Jones, 12, both from Fitzroy in Melbourne with their teacher Mr Bruce Lew [photographic image] / photographer, Don Edwards. 1 photographic negative: b&w, acetate
