Description from source
postcard 135 mm x 90 mm, envelope 145 mm x 85 mm

On the postcard is a one penny Queensland stamp postmarked at Cleveland on 27/04/1911.

This is a postcard that was written (in German) on 26/04/1911 by Mrs Frank Benfer to her son, Daniel Benfer who at the time lived at North Arm, NCL (North Coast Line) just north of Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. The view is of the entrance to the then University of Queensland which had been established on 10/12/1909 on the site now occupied by the Gardens Piont Campus of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Immediately to the right of where the photographer would have been standing would have been the Queensland Parliament House.
